Daniel Corbett is your first point of contact for weather comment beyond the forecast. He is able to comment with authority on all aspects of weather, in print and at interview. And he can link you with other MetService experts if you have a specialised enquiry. A key part of the role of Media & Communications Meteorologist is to actively build great relationships with journalists and editors so that MetService can deliver the best weather information to you right when you need it.
Dan is an extremely experienced broadcast meteorologist and until he joined MetService was one of the main weather presenters on the BBC, working for the UK Met Office. Along with his previous experience forecasting in ‘Tornado Alley’ in the United States, Daniel brings a wealth of media and communications experience to our team.
